The material with which they are made, in fact, despite the thinness,
it is extraordinarily insulating, being very cool in summer, e
warm in winter.
The model was later covered with a
metallic finish, which, after multiple washes, tends to disappear,
allowing the brilliance of the underlying silk to emerge.
